Personal Exigencies

Light posting tonight.  Please see PGF’s post on inflation.  Discuss other issues as you see fit.

I buried my mother today.  I’m not feeling the urge to post and analyze.

Be back tomorrow, maybe.

Thanks for all of the well wishes.

I told WiscoDave that the day was so stressful and my neck so tensioned and distorted that I couldn’t stand up straight when I finally got home after an 11 hour day.

That’s not an experience I want to repeat. But then, I won’t with parents. They’re both in heaven now.

Life knocks you around sometimes. I lost my job near the end of 2018, lost my best friend Heidi on new year’s eve of 2019, lost my dad in 2019, and then lost my mother a few days ago.

But God has blessed as well. My work today is better than what I left, my children love us, and I’m still here. I will eventually replace Heidi, and tell her that she has big paws to fill.
