People To Watch Out For When Trouble Comes
BY Herschel Smith2 years, 9 months ago
I wouldn’t embed this video except that I have actually talked to people like this. Yes, to someone who told me he was arming himself (and even minimizing ammunition purchases) but planned to take what ammunition he had and steal ammo and food from other people.
I’m not kidding.

I still get a vote on that.
But, is he worse than the people on the “right” who are not absolutists about firearms? Fact is, those on the “right” that are mushy on guns will side with whoever they perceive can keep them safe. Which means, they are just like women.

That’s a mic drop comment right there!
The coming unpleasantness will be survival of the fittest mentally and physically.

Well, honestly I have a Libtard neighbor who is a real pain. She was in a panic a couple months ago about something she watched on the news. She sees me outside and wonders over and in a some what panicked demeanor asks me how we where preparing for what ever was coming. I told her we were heavily armed and if things got that bad we planned on taking her food. She hasn’t spoken to me since.

Planning to survive as a raider is planning on dying early. Because it’s just a matter of time before one of his intended victims punches his ticket permanently.

Your biggest threats are within a 5 mile radius because local steals from you and local kills you.
No one is coming to save you…….Everything is your responsibility…….Save you needs to be saved…….Dispose of those that need to be disposed of……Always be working.
The training period is coming to an end, use the remaining time well.
These are the good old days.

I worked with a guy that spoke like this. Specifically when discussing ideal caliber for a future shtf situation. For example, his 10mm would be plentiful because the “battlefield” would be littered with that caliber and hence wouldn’t be a problem acquiring. Or maybe he’d steal the same way as mentioned here.
To note, we’re divided on so many levels in this country thanks to our “leaders”, trust of others will be in short supply. Meaning, good luck attempting to acquire goods from others.

I feel the biggest threat is not black helicopters/antifis ect. but parents who do not have food for their children, though many seem to have funds for boats/expensive cars ect.

People who have that kind of plan are a danger *now*. You don’t want them in your group – or neighborhood. They’re criminals, and probably psychopaths, in the bargain. Having done criminal defense law, what they’re doing when they’re talking to you, is sizing up their opportunities and risks you might present – they’re “casing” you and your situation. So they’re a danger long before SHTF.

I’d be concerned if the person saying stuff like this was associated in any way with me, because they just marked themselves off as a great big target – and anyone associated as well. She may well have let local law enforcement know what you said, and the local Fusion Center as well. And the person saying this stuff just might have made a friend, instead of an enemy. She told the person that she has a legit concern for her personal safety – and she probably has friends in the same situation. A possible response would be to listen to her concerns – and then suggest the formation of a neighborhood watch/mutual assistance group. Ask if she has friends with similar concerns, and then set up a meeting – at which you will listen, and note down their concerns on a large sheet of paper visible to all. Then you *work together* to figure out how to address those concerns without reliance on government or other institutions. Chances are there are a lot of people with relevant knowledge and experience which could be brought to bear on the problems… But the person who made this threat blew it, he might as well hit the high road and clear out of there, at some point before the Red Flag raid…

This is also a reminder that personal awareness and preparedness are insufficient by themselves. Without community buy-in and community cooperation in maintaining security, any of us can be stripped bare. After all, everyone has to sleep sometime.
