Ron DeSantis Finally Calls For Special Session Of Florida Congress To Address Constitutional Carry
BY Herschel Smith2 years, 7 months ago
The special session begins on April 29th. It could have been sooner and I pressed the governor to push on the legislature more, but this just may be a good tactic. They are now in “special session” to address certain things. It may avoid the ridiculous committee blocking of bills that tends to derail pro-gun laws in Florida.
Better late than never.

They need open carry with it…BUT…not if it derails concealed con carry. Increments!

I realize that for many of us reading your blog, 2A rights are right at the top of our political concerns, and so this seems late, but we have to give this Governor props — he has rolled from one major issue right into the next, willing to piss off whoever stands in the way, all in the interest of protecting the rights and liberties of everyday Floridians. Freedoms from covid restrictions, more recently protecting children from Disney etc, and finally 2A.
I wish our NC governor was worth a tenth of his salt.
