Because It’s What SWAT Does

According to the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office, its investigators and the U.S. Marshals working with them got a tip that Toney Brown was at his parents’ home and went to the residence to look for him. According to deputies, U.S. Marshals requested help from the Madison County SWAT Team and the Limestone County Special Response Team.
“Me and my husband both told them we will go in there with you and take you through it,” Brenda Brown said. “We didn’t care because he wasn’t here. If he had been here he would have turned himself in. He would have never wanted us to go through this.”
Still, Brenda Brown said the authorities on the scene deployed tear gas, broke windows and damaged her home.
Why not just surround the home to make sure he didn’t escape through a window, knock on the door, and walk through the home like civilized people?

So no warrant just a “tip” that the offender was in the house. All of these people are scum. The police no longer deserve any respect.
I read an article in which a SWAT SGT was quoted as saying: “I am a door kicker not a Constitutional lawyer.” Well then I could probably teach a Constitutional Law class at University level because for any scenario the SGT could give me, I bet I could tell him if the action was constitutional or not.
There are some cases that are not black and white. In those cases the police should err on the side of caution. That is what I was taught anyway.

Because every alleged apprehension is a training evolution. Because when you have the gear and the stack, you go in a show of overwhelming force.

When the tipping point arrives, and these state goons start confronting veterans who have been there and done that, the spiciness will be off the chain.

That is NOT what those guys joined SWAT for!

IMHO, Bill B is the only one here that answered the mail. These leo coproaches will only understand violence when it hits them in the face.

@Frank Clarke, that’s because they are cowards. If they really wanted action they’d go overseas and dive headfirst into full-orbed battle with uncertain outcomes and unspecified enemies. Ganging up on one guy is what bullies do.

Jose Guerena hesitated because he realized it was cops instead of home invaders. He died.
We all know SWAT will kill you, even if you’ve done nothing wrong. Don’t be Jose Guerena.

There needs to be revenge and retribution for these kinds of acts. Claiming it’s done with the farce of law doesn’t excuse their evil acts.

Yes, Cops and intelligence is an oxymoron.
On the one hand they are proud to use 21st century technology (DNA testing) but if they raid / search your home they employ the behaviour of a stone age neanderthal.
I know a guy who collected WWII tanks in 1/72. And I am not talking about the models you can buy at the shop. These are just the start. There are special suppliers who deliver all the things that you can make even the most obscure variant of a tank down to the most minute detail. Just these accessoirs raise the cost many times.
But as he collected German tanks (in Germany!) the cops thought him to be a nazi.
So, when they raided his home, they emptied his cupboard by throwing everything on the ground and marching a few times over the contents.
When he filed a complain all cops suddenly said that he destroyed them himself.
These “guys” thrive on destruction and misery.
