This is easy. The governor of Texas could handle this with the stroke of a pen.
Issue arming orders to the Texas National Guard. Tell them to monitor the passing. If the Border Patrol follows orders from above and comes to open the passing, arrest them and put them into indefinite confinement along with arrested or detained migrants.
The same lack of will has occurred in Missouri where they actually have the tools to do their job but won’t use them.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has so far randomly audited 24 sheriff’s offices in Missouri in search of concealed carry weapon (CCW) details, but they all refused to comply, according to law enforcement authorities.
“None released anything pertaining to CCWs themselves, but some did partially comply by answering procedural questions on issuing CCWs,” said Moniteau County’s Sheriff Tony Wheatley.
Don’t do that. Confiscate their weapons and seize their credentials, arrest them on the spot, and either take them to the state border and release them or throw them into jail. Tell them never to come back.
This will get worse until the states stand up for themselves.

I agree with our hosts suggestions 110%. This will continue and even progress until there is pushback. Nobody wants to be first. Our society is/has been conditioned to avoid confrontation at nearly all costs. You see it everywhere in our world today, that is the fulcrum being used against us. We swallow everything because if you confront the purple haired tranny they screech and howl and call you names while getting you fired from your job – they make the pain from confrontation so great you will supress your own truths and go along with their lies.
These people literally melt at any form of resistance (watch any Matt Walsh video), and can’t coherently argue their own case (watch any Matt Walsh video), but win more than they lose because our side is afraid of the confrontation. No matter the objective truth is on your side (man/woman), we still run from the fight like little girls. In the grocery store over a mask, or 6 feet, or whatever, we slink away.
Federal agents tresspass our land and ignore our laws, we slink away.
Illegal migrants stream like water, we slink away.
Until the evil is confronted, it will continue doing evil.

Yes. Arrest is the answer, at least for this situation. The agents who opened the gate were aiding and abetting unlawful entry. Basically smuggling aliens. Those who gave the order are guilty of conspiracy to do the same.
There may be some other state charges that apply as well.

So, just what is their job?
I recall when I was down at the border as part of a citizen’s group. Our intentions were to help the BP protect the US from invasion. We were told by a BP agent that they were authorized to shoot us if we detained any illegals. Let that sink in. If you defend your actual country – not by going overseas and killing people for politicians – then your government, which is Constitutionally mandated to defend the borders, will literally shoot you in the back.

As for the reply, well, we figured there was no point in us being there since the BP wasn’t going to do a damn thing to secure the border and would shoot us if we tried. I seriously doubt my fellow Americans would have supported our efforts if we did fight the government agents. Remember, Jorge Arbusto was the president then. My fellow Americans thought we were a bunch of kooks for wanting to defend our country instead of invade Iraq and Afghanistan.
