Well, it’s certainly different and might be an interesting addition to a lever action collection, but at an MSRP of $2000, why would anyone do this?

I just had a thought – it could be intended for “no semiauto” markets. AKs were made with pump-action and “straight pull” (cocking handle operated) operation for the South African and British markets.
It still looks like some manga freak spent too much time looking at a Tapco catalog before drawing that thing up, though.
