Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department Execution in Murphy, North Carolina

BY Herschel Smith
1 year, 11 months ago

I know a bit more about this incident than what’s contained in the video (and cannot share at the moment), although the video itself should be disturbing enough to watch.  Basically, this is an execution for no good reason whatsoever.

As I’ve said before and will continue to say, “You’re never in more danger than when the police are around.”  And by the way, if you love someone, don’t ever send the police to their home to conduct a “wellness check.”  If they were well before the police arrive, they won’t be afterwards.

I have yet to see any evidence that government employees should be allowed to keep the privilege of being armed while on the job. Governments and their minions do not have rights, they have delegated privileges. I see no reason why LEOs should be dressed in BDUs/Combat fatigues and wear helmets and face masks. I know, the badge fluffers will be here soon with their cries of “Muh constitutional sheriff”. A sheriff is just a politician and a LEO, remember that.

Did the man die from his wounds received? The video and little news I found didn’t say. Smart to have their camera going, notice the one murder suspect says the F-bomb in a negative way. Likely can’t prove anything in court but to me that’s admission that he knew he was wrong to shoot the man.

Innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, has apparently been omitted from these individuals training. Hopefully the following will be applied.

DEPRIVATION OF RIGHTS UNDER COLOR OF LAW

    SUMMARY:

Section 242 of Title 18 makes it a crime for a person acting under color of any law to willfully deprive a person of a right or privilege protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States.
For the purpose of Section 242, acts under “color of law” include acts not only done by federal, state, or local officials within their lawful authority, but also acts done beyond the bounds of that official’s lawful authority, if the acts are done while the official is purporting to or pretending to act in the performance of his/her official duties. Persons acting under color of law within the meaning of this statute include police officers, prisons guards and other law enforcement officials, as well as judges, care providers in public health facilities, and others who are acting as public officials. It is not necessary that the crime be motivated by animus toward the race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status or national origin of the victim.

The offense is punishable by a range of imprisonment up to a life term, or the death penalty, depending upon the circumstances of the crime, and the resulting injury, if any.

    TITLE 18, U.S.C., SECTION 242

Whoever, under color of any law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom, willfully subjects any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States, … shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if bodily injury results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include the use, attempted use, or threatened use of a dangerous weapon, explosives, or fire, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, shall be fined under this title, or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.

So I suppose these imbeciles are using the excuse that they thought this man had a firearm because he was holding the drone which they tossed into the residence. The cops wanted to shoot this man. How else can you explain this.

We have reached peak authoritarian BS. I say as their sentence they should be made to join a mercenary group being sent to the Bakhmut front lines. There they can use their incredible skills to fight people who are actually a danger to them. Perhaps they can bring their little drone and see if it is worth anything.

    That was an execution.

I keep saying this, but it is the Law Imposement culture that is to blame.

“I can’t be wrong! I’m a Law Imposement Officer! Hell, I gots a Super Hero Costume and a Magic Shield and everthang! What ever it was that I done, it had to be the right thing to do because it was me what dunnit! I’m Law Imposement!”

After the shooting, the other cops are telling the shooter(s), “It’s alright Bud, you did the right thang. We got yer back.”

Then they stand around kicking sand, blaming the victim for failure to grovel. “Why didn’t he just submit and comply?” This is the Sheriff Teasle excuse.

Then there is always the Waingro excuse, “Look, I had to get it on. He was makin’ a move. I had to get it on!”

Then they go back to the office and write up an official statemnent which exonerates themselves, and shifts the blame to the victim. Then, once it is on paper, its “documented” and that makes it the “truth” (How dare you question my integrity…!).

    SS, DD.

If there wasn’t video, these cops would get away with murder every day. I’m surprised they didn’t try to throw down a junk gun.

We the People need to start having trials where “following procedure” is not allowed as a defense just like “following orders” wasn’t accepted at Nuremberg.

We also need a way to get rid of that “qualified immunity” that keeps people from suing those filthy pigs directly.

    Herschel,

I appreciate you sharing this event; and I don’t want to discourage you from doing so in the future. But, you, your friends and local readers need to acknowledge your own biases.

Very disturbing. And, yet comments to other posts on this site “instruct”: leave your violent or tyrannical state; “vote with your feet”, relocate to … NC and the like. …

There is something in scripture about “eyes, specks and logs” …

It may serve your readers and all in this country, regardless of state or locale, well … if we would admit we need to “fight” to remediate the corruption nearest to us before we condemn those who live elsewhere (many of whom are more courageous because they do not “vote with their feet” than those who flee).

Some close to me have moved to NC, … I don’t understand “why ?”.

Yet, this episode confirms for me the more one attempts to isolate themself and ignore the environment they live in, the more vulnerable they become. …

“Situational awareness” should be applied first and foremost with familiarity of the neighbors “all” around you, the community you live in, the communities which surround you, your government, law enforcement, etc. …

If you think you can ignore these factors, watch the video again.

Last, the perpetrators in this video are members of your family, neighbors, friends, community, … and by extension the second + degrees after that. It is not “you” against “them” it is “you”; accept responsibility.

Go be outspoken at your village, town, county trustee meetings. Make Mr. Kloepfer’s sacrifice give you purpose; condemn the “parasites” who are “just following orders” (executing their “training”).

So not murder, but attempted murder for sure.
    Premeditated probably.
As a resident of the WNC hills, I can assure you that grudges, feuds and convoluted intertwined relationships do exist and if investigated, at least one of the “LEOs” had a reason to want him dead.

Every one of those #%^*( ‘cops’ should be shot in the same way the victim was. They knew they were wrong – as evidenced by the comments at the end when they discovered they were on camera – but did it anyway. Attempted murder. Period. Bastards.
And WHAT IN %^&** are ‘indian’ police doing there? WHY are there separate ‘indian’ police, much less swat teams?!?!?!? They incorrectly claim to be ‘native americans’, so why dont they act like Americans? Why do they get their own separate ‘police forces’? The Celts were here first, and Im of Celtic heritage, so dammit, I want MY own Celtic cops!

Been sayin it for 40 years – your local police dept is public enemy #1… if youre White at least.
