Meet Fletcher Rifle Works’ 11/22: The Easily Disassembled Ruger 10/22!
“For over 50 years, the Ruger 10/22 has been one of the most popular rimfire rifles in the world. While a pleasure to shoot, anyone with a 10/22 knows they are a nightmare to disassemble and clean.”

The article could be more extensive. Interesting design. I’ll have to examine one closely to see whether it’s worth buying. Ease of disassembly is undoubtedly an issue with the Ruger 10/22, but the original has a significant number of upgrades and modification parts and kits. With this Fletcher, you could lose substantial flexibility in changing the weapon to your needs.

I get the feeling that to promote the 11/22, they felt it necessary to conjour then embellish a perceived difficulty of the 10/22.
My latest 10/22 is a wood stock 50th Anniversary edition. It is completely stock save for addition of Tech iron sights. I admit there was at first a slight difficulty in removing the trigger group from the receiver, which involves aligning the group just right to remove. But that difficulty vanished after a short amount of practice.
That difficulty is no more than when disassembling the slide and barrel from my HK 9mm compact. That perceived difficulty is far less than that of the M1 Garand.
I don’t understand except as I stated above; embellishing the difficulty in order to promote the 11/22.

I never had any issues with disassembling and assembling my 10/22, nor my PC Carbine, nor my AR’s.
Probably because I know my limitations and watched multiple videos of people who know how performing the actions.

I got my 10-22 in 1983. Mounted a sweet little ringless Bushnell 2.5-7X scope and a QD sling. (I might apply some grip tape to the slippery plastic buttplate. Someday.)
I see no need for further embellishment.
