Philadelphia Mayor: You Don’t Back the Blue If You Don’t Back Gun Control
BY PGF1 year, 8 months ago
A leftist finally says the quiet part out loud; a government monopoly on force is their desire.
Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney (D) addressed the shooting death of Temple University police officer Christopher Fitzgerald and made clear his view that one cannot claim to back the blue if they do not back gun control.
Breitbart News reported that Fitzgerald was shot and killed while investigating a carjacking Saturday night. The alleged cop killer, 18-year-old Miles Pfeffer, was arrested Sunday morning without incident.
The Philadelphia Inquirer quoted Kenney reacting to the slaying, saying, “There’s too many [guns] and they’re too easy to get.”
Kenney added, “You can say you back the blue, but if you don’t back gun control and gun availability, you don’t back the blue. We owe it to them to do everything we can to stop this nonsense and stop this tragedy.”

yeah, right. ever since he has come to be in power there the city has gone even farther downhill than one would have thought possible.
the few cops I did know have all retired or left after the “summer of floyd”.
they not ALLOWED to stop blacks for running red lights, or no lights working on the wreck
speeding or just about anything now.
then there is the drug problem that they are doing nothing to stop.
hell, they give away new clean needles to them.
I left that shit hole of a city back in 2016 and never looked at going back.
and that is a shame, it once was a good to fair city when I was a kid. like over 50 years ago. other than a few good people left there, it might be best if it was nuked.
used to go shopping where all of the junkies now rule, the stores are long gone.

Of course govt. monopoly on force is their goal. The part I don’t understand is how the idiot populace gets behind them like it’s a good thing. History has shown where that leads with several examples.
Time to wall off the cities, let the leftist communists have their little utopia and do what they want in their own sandbox. One rule, they can’t leave the city.

How is the commie wrong?
Backing the police state IS backing weapons control and prohibition by the government.
Who will make the politicians’ oppression actionable but the police.

The communists always work from the same playbook whenever they take power, and one of its tenets is to seize control of the enforcement arms of the state, i.e., the military and the police. This is nothing new;they’ve been doing this for nearly a century and yet some people still believe the lies and falsehoods they offer as reasons. There’s no fixing stupid. Reality is a harsh school-house, but the fool will learn in no other.
Ultimately, they’re working themselves up to commit genocide against their enemies, something which most of the communist regimes of the past did at one time or another.
After all, did not Premier Stalin himself say something to the effect of “Man is the source of all problems; eliminate the man and you eliminate the problems. No man, no problem.”? The ‘Breaker of Nations’ is also the man who said, “A single death is tragic, a million deaths is a statistic…” Quite the warm-hearted fellow, old Uncle Joe!
And Mao over in Red China shed even more blood than Stalin. And it was Mao who said in a speech in 1927, “Every Communist must grasp the truth, ‘Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.’ Our principle is that the Party commands the gun, and the gun must never be allowed to command the Party.”
Can’t make it much plainer than that, folks. Gun control is about power and control, and nothing more.
One final warning from history: The late Dr. R.J. Rummel spent his entire career engaged in researching the phenomena of genocide and mass murder. His many important findings are too lengthy to recount here in their entirety, but one of the most-important was that when central governments enact gun control, it is often a prelude to an act of genocide.
Conversely, if one examines the genocides of the late 19th and 20th centuries, they were almost always preceded by draconian gun control laws. Historical scholars consider the Armenian Genocide of 1915-1921 to be the first “modern” genocide, because it was the first such event documented in the age of still and motion-picture photography and the mass media, such as radio and newspapers.
The Sunni Muslim Ottoman Turks disarmed Armenian and Greek Christians several years before liquidating more than 1.5 million of them. In Europe, a young Adolf Hitler looked on and saw that the world did nothing to stop the killing – which arguably ultimately paved way for the ‘Final Solution’ in Europe during the era 1933-1945.
Tyrants have no intention of surrendering their guns; they merely want you – the armed citizen – to surrender yours.

It really is that simple. I don’t support gun control and I don’t support magic blue costumed asshats.
