And as others have noted, the many leftists in the legal profession regard the constitution and bill of rights as “living documents” flexible in their intent – which in practical terms means that it says whatever they want it to say.
The propensity of the political left to twist words into veritable pretzels to get what they want – is now well-known.
Guys like Barack Obama didn’t attend law school to learn how to uphold the constitution & bill of rights; they attended law school to learn how to subvert it and destroy it from the inside. And he’s far from the only one.
