Be the smartest guy in the room. Always catch Mark’s videos. They are legal classes in 12 – 15 minutes. And you don’t have to pay law school tuition for them.

He is really good. The problem is the black robed tyrants who don’t care about the law, they love the power and the ability to make policy. It is amazing what they can ignore to reach their desired conclusion. As long as the sickness of progressivism flows through these people, our rights will never be safe.

@Heywood brings to mind an ever-fading recall, faintly from off in the distance now, of something about a republic populated by a moral and religious people.

Traditional Americans talk about the constitution and bill of rights, but according to friends and associates who entered the legal profession, modern law schools spend comparatively little time talking about, studying or learning about those foundational documents.
American law, which is based upon English common law, is to a large extent “case law,” which means the law as an ongoing intellectual and legal exercise is based largely upon precedent and past rulings, and not the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.
You’ve probably figured out where this is going: Once a base of case law is established which is sufficient in size and scope, no further – or little further – reference to the constitution and bill of rights need to be made.
While it is certainly true that some lawyers and judges study and/or teach “con law” (constitutional law) in law school, as students or later teachers, it is surprisingly easy not to run into that document while working in the legal profession.
And as others have noted, the many leftists in the legal profession regard the constitution and bill of rights as “living documents” flexible in their intent – which in practical terms means that it says whatever they want it to say.
The propensity of the political left to twist words into veritable pretzels to get what they want – is now well-known.
Guys like Barack Obama didn’t attend law school to learn how to uphold the constitution & bill of rights; they attended law school to learn how to subvert it and destroy it from the inside. And he’s far from the only one.
