NC units deploying to the US southwest border to provide support for DHS, US Northern Command says

Source. To secure the Southern border from invasion? No such thing.
CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. (WNCN) — Two North Carolina battalion-sized units are deploying to the U.S. southwest border in the coming days, the U.S. Northern Command said.
On Friday, the command announced that 1,500 active duty military service members under their command and control will deploy to the border at the request of the Department of Homeland Security with approval from the Secretary of Defense.
The mission includes the following battalion-sized units:
- 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, Camp Lejeune, N.C.
- Combat Logistics Battalion 2, 2nd Marine Division, Camp Lejeune, N.C.
- 93rd Military Police Battalion, 89th Military Police Brigade, Fort Bliss, Texas
The U.S. Northern Command said the majority of active duty personnel will come from the U.S. Army and U.S. Marines, along with a small number from U.S. Air Force.
While there, the command said the units will provide support to the DHS with duties including data entry, warehousing support and additional detection and monitoring support efforts.
“This military support increases the availability of Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) law enforcement personnel to conduct law enforcement specific duties,” the U.S. Northern Command explained in a news release.
U.S. troops are heading to the border — again. So they can be clerks, maids, janitors, and in-processing specialists filling out paperwork.
That’s how much your betters care about you, your food and medical bills, and the invasion of the Southern border.
And they wonder why they can’t meet recruiting goals!

This is nothing more than security theater being put on by the current Biden regime. It is meaningless posturing and a bit of easy propaganda for those press conferences, to show that Biden really, really does in fact care about our porous southern border. Really! Honest he does! Give me a break…
Before the creation of the U.S. Border Patrol in 1924, the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps were responsible for securing our borders with other nations. The policing of our maritime boarders is also a responsibility of the U.S. Cast Guard, which was founded in 1790 and took its current form in 1915.
During the Mexican Revolution and throughout the aftermath, circa 1910 through around 1920, the U.S. military intervened in Mexico several times to protect U.S. interests and American citizens and personnel abroad.
Perhaps the most-famous military missions of that time, vis-a-vis the situation in Mexico, were the Navy and Marine Corps at Vera Cruz, and the U.S. Army punitive expedition against Mexican bandito Pancho Villa, which took place in 1916-1917. The latter was commanded by B.G. John “Blackjack” Pershing, and on his staff was a young George S. Patton, Jr.
American cavalry forces briefly engaged Mexican regulars at Carrizal in the Mexican state of Chiuahua, on 21 June 1961, but diplomatic negotiations prevented a widening of the war.
The official line that the border cannot be secured is a boldfaced lie. Many nations around the world use military or paramilitary forces to police and protect their borders. Including, ironically-enough, Mexico – whose southern border with Honduras is heavily-fortified and guarded by heavily-armed men with automatic weapons, fortified checkpoints, guard dogs, concertina wire, and the whole nine yards.
While it is probably not possible to prevent a certain percentage of illegals from gaining admittance into the U.S. against the wishes of a determined enforcement effort, if the political will existed in Washington, D.C., adequate funding was appropriated, and the military given the mission of sealing the border, upwards of 90% – perhaps even 95% – of the current illegal crossings could be prevented.
But unless those troops headed for the Mexican border have been issued ammunition and are “weapons hot,” their presence is nothing more than political gamesmanship and for show.

That’s a good one, “U.S. Cast Guard”… sorry, all you Coasties out there, it should have read “U.S. Coast Guard”!

I’m sure they’re not under arming orders except for pens and pencils to fill out paperwork for illegal entry for the invaders.

The military units deployed to the Border have never accomplish anything. In fact they are in many cases a liability. Back in the day they would set up OPs and try to call out traffic they observed. However they were not armed so an agent had to be with them for security.
The latest deployment is only for the purpose of assisting with transport into our country and processing aliens to be released. No danger to the guard this time because no actual enforcement is taking place anymore. The aliens are just being funneled into processing areas and released as quickly as possible.
The drug cartels love it. Not much attention on them. The alien smugglers love it. They only have to get their clients to the Border. No more long journeys into the U.S. by foot. We have no nation now. We won’t have a country much longer.

In just the State of Texas there recently have been three cases of foreign nationals committing murder. The three we are talking about were Hispanic perpetrators. Note that any Hispanic person who is arrested for any crime will be categorized as “White.” That is what the crime data will show. The groups can be sorted but it takes a lot of effort for anyone seeking the correct information.
This has been done since as far back as we can look. This is no doubt done to hide and or slant the actual crime statistics. If Hispanic people were counted in the crime stats as their own demographic it would be obvious to anyone that violent crime in America is basically a black and hispanic thing.
The powers that be can transfer more blame to white people for their narrative.

I’m sure you’re right. Maybe instead of calling them the “U.S. military,” we ought to call them “Welcome Wagon” or something! (snark/off)
