Wow Herschel! My home! Lived in Kodiak 30+ years.! Commercial fished around Chirikof Island for decades. Knew about the wild cattle. Did you know that there is also wild herds of bison on Kodiak Island. And there’s wild herds of reindeer.
Reindeer, Buffalo, Cattle, Bears and Salmon. What more could a man want? And rain, lots and lots of rain. The rain is a downer.

Kodiak brown bears are HUGE! And plentiful. .
