Buffalo Jump Or Opportunity?

I'm not commenting on the veracity of this, but, in this day and age, be wary of facial recognition, even on the private level. Wear a hat, sunglasses, and even a mask. Don't post photos of yourself or allow photos of yourself to be posted online. Don't do things in public that… https://t.co/wk3VgwQt6A

There are two ways to look at this. The first is that it’s a chance to get into trouble. Hide yourself. Wear sunglasses. Wear a hat. Dress in an unfamiliar way. Borrow a neighbor’s car to get there. Leave your cell phone at home.
The second is even more interesting to me. Let it all happen. Identify yourself. Set up a lawsuit that will go all the way to the Supreme Court.
Only they can decide. Or maybe they already did.

I like this one comment: “They all need to go buy airsoft replicas of whatever they were carrying that day. Burden of proof is on the state here.”

citations will be sent to those identified and, when the fines are not paid, bench warrants will be issued and the people involved will slowly be rolled up through traffic stops. And you bet the powers that be will find a way to turn the bench warrants into felonies.
The only way to head this off is to arrest the governor and toss her into jail. She’s guilty of multiple felonies, at this point. But, naturally, law enforcement is wringing their hands, harrumphing and assuring citizens they’re not going to enforce this illegal order….yet.

The great part about all this resonates from the covid era; These people are showing you who they are, and they’re tyrants.
Its important, moving forward, to believe people if show you their true character.

Jeepers, its like they think their officers might get shot for imposing Tyranny on the people the “serve”.
Now, why would they think that?

HT to HotAir, by pursuing arrests, Lujan has just scotched her 30-day “mootness” escape hatch:
“That means that the impacts of this policy will be unlimited by time. Citations remain on the records of people who receive them, and might interfere with their ability to keep and bear arms, now or in the future. That means courts will have to rule on the merits of Lujan Grisham’s suspension of the US Constitution whether it remains in effect or not.”

The NM Attorney General has sent a letter to the goobernor stating his office will not defend her administration from the lawsuits that have been filed as he doesn’t see how the edict is Constitutional. IOW, she’s on her own and will have to use her own and her office’s (if any) legal counsel.
Just may be me, but from that, I’d think it likely the NM AG will also not prosecute anyone who may be cited.

First of all, I think Gov. Grisham is bidding for the VP slot on the Democratic ticket in 2024. She’s raising her national profile with this, and a lot of people support her actions on this. Compared to the current VP, Grisham is a genius.(But then, a moss covered rock is smarter than the VP)
Second, a lot of people tell me that they want a more progressive candidate; Biden is seen as being far too conservative. A Newsom-Grisham ticket would be very attractive to them. OTOH, the diversity types will have a fit if the VP is replaced on the ticket or if the old man doesn’t run, is not selected as the nominee. They will still reliably vote Democratic, of course. I read all the scribblings about how THIS TIME the diversity types are going to vote for the Republicans, and I have to laugh.
Lastly, I doubt the federal court in NM is going to overturn this. NM is deep blue and getting more so every day.

If I was a civil rights lawyer, I’d be buying that vacation home in Albuquerque right about now. Going to be busy and lucrative down there.
And if you all haven’t done so, wherever you are, please send a note to the Bernallilo Sheriff’s Office and ask them why they haven’t arrested her yet.
