If you have to beat a dog in order to train him or her, you’re stupid and wicked and have no business being around animals or humans.
But this dog seems to have recovered from abuse quickly.
I demand to have my belly rubbed, and I’m badder than you.
Nothing wrong with a good pool party.
Don’t mess with bull elk, especially if they are rutting.

Many many moons ago took a trip to Cape Breton Island on a whim with my girlfriend (now wife). Took a pull off from the Cabot Trail and decided to take a short hike up into the Highlands. About a half mile in suddenly saw huge and VERY fresh track crossing the trail. Suddenly dawned—there are moose up here and it’s mid September. Quietly whispered “we’re turning around and walking very quietly backdown to the trailhead”.
