Here We Go On AR-15s Again
BY Herschel Smith1 year ago
This time by an ignorant boob, Gretchen Carlson (hey, wasn’t she basically the founder of the “me too” movement?). Anyway, aren’t they always ignorant?
This is her complaint.
Ordinary people didn’t have AR-15s before 2004. They’re not some time-honored American tradition, they’re a recent mistake that we could fix and save thousands of lives in the process. https://t.co/IlJ4FuadBP

This response is amusing.
Catalog from the 1970s would like a word… https://t.co/V3CTqOL387 pic.twitter.com/ullBxUsi0l

But we already knew that, didn’t we?
Boy, would I like to get my hands on an original AR Sporter like that for $297.50! Does anyone want to let one go? I’ll even pay a bit more!

I’d love to have a Nam era M-16.
Gretchen is all plastic and botox or just right for the fake and GAE.
After they attempt to get rid of the All-American AR platform it will be the 1911 ACP?
This Bolshevik Revolution Redux has grown stale and tiresome, these things happen when you stop teaching history because you want to repeat it.
Love that scene in Hurt Locker where the bandit tries to sneak up and the anxious new guy hoses him down with the AR.

It gets better. She later said “Since we’re all big fans of math, here are some more numbers that seem relevant. In 1992, AR-15s composed roughly 21 in every 100 firearms made in the U.S. By 2020 almost 1 in 5 firearms made here were AR-15s.”
Math is hard.

I bought my Eagle Arms AR-15 for 3 gun matches in 1986. Had a 3 digit SN if I remember correctly.

Never heard of this woman before today. Just another blonde bimbo who believes what spews forth from her mouth has substance and meaning to others, and not very good at math either.

I paid $400 for my first one in 1982. I was still in High School and that was the second rifle I bought for myself. My parents thought I had lost my mind, “You bought a machine-gun…OMG! OMG!”. Nearly everyone I showed it to said, “Whatcha gone do with that?”
Time says, I was right.

Gretchen Carlson should be teaching seventh-grade girls how to use a tampon in health class, not commenting on which rifles free adult men should or should not own.

I’m still waiting for my FBI issued Daniel Defense AR-15. Maybe I have to hang out on Discord to get one of those?

She ‘forgot’ slow joe’s claim that the AR-15 shoots bullets FIVE times faster than any other rifle known to man……………..from the 100 round chamber no doubt.

Carlson was on Fox News’s morning show Fox & Friends, from 2005 to 2013, and The Real Story with Gretchen Carlson on Fox News from 2013 to 2016.At least until she sued Roger Ailes for sexual harassment. Then she got her payment and retired to Connecticut, where she can dictate to the rest of us what is acceptable behavior.

Armalite sold some on the civilian market in the early 1960s, before the first military units began adopting small numbers of them. The USAF was first, if I remember right.
So, it was a civilian rifle before it was a military one.
