Oh, I don’t think they’re insane. They’re just communists and this is what communists do. And lest you think that there must be some good people left in FedGov law enforcement, no, they’re all for this. They will enforce this without so much as one ounce of remorse, as well as any other law, rule or regulation their superiors tell them to. They have already sold their souls.

It has long been a goal to use the “in the business” language to shut down any private firearms sale. This was an issue back when the Warsaw Pact broke up and a lot of MilSurp firearms were imported. People got 07 C&R FFLs which allowed you to buy more easily, but nothing special about selling. So the question became whether an 07 selling was “enhancing his collection” or being “in the business”.
