   The backstory on the western N.C. region is that the big money boys – the billionaires and the big multinationals and wealth management firms, i.e., Blackrock, Vanguard, et al. – want that area for themselves as it is rich in lithium and other minerals needed for high-tech products of all kinds.

   The scuttlebutt is that FEMA and the feds are slow-walking delivering aid as a means of forcing people out of the area entirely. Many of the families and businesses in the area have been there for generations, and they won’t leave easily. And in particular, they have gone hard after traditional people, rural folks, and people from the South. In particular traditional males and women who are not feminists, and also Christians.
   Gun owners, too. And now these categories are also lumped into the MAGA movement.

   It is telling in the extreme that tens of billions of dollars are somehow found to be available for the Ukraine, a nation halfway around the world that many of our citizens can’t find on a map, while FEMA pleads poverty and says that only a paltry $750 bucks will be available for disaster relief in hard-hit W. North Carolina and E.Tennessee.

   In short, the left and the Biden regime can’t make it any plainer the hatred and low regard they have for the people of these hard-hit areas.

   As for me, I’ve seen a lot of evil things in my life, but weaponizing disaster relief efforts for political and ideological purposes just about takes the cake. Conduct of this sort cannot be allowed to stand.
