Good jobs James. This is a worthy endeavor for all states. If the behemoth in Washington won’t move, the states can go it alone.

We already have a “Protection Of Lawful Commerce Of Arms” law. It’s been on the books for years. Politicians and judges routinely ignore it. Just like they will ignore this one.

I know lawyers are quite pernicious and adept at manipulating language, however…
While I am attempting some hyperbole here, I truly do not understand why each and every court case involving firearms does not start and end w/ the defense team displaying a 10-foot wide banner printout of the 2nd Amendment, boldfacing the final 4 words: “Shall Not Be Infringed.”
Serious question, why does any single court case get beyond the opening statements?
Shall Not Be Infringed.
I’m done your honor, the defense rests.

@Joe Blow — I’m right there with you, on that. Apparently, we aren’t big brained enough to understand that “Shall not be infringed” does not necessarily mean “Shall not be infringed”.
