What’s The Most Dangerous Thing In America?
BY Herschel Smith7 years, 6 months ago
“It’s up to us to speak up against the three most dangerous voices in America: academic elites, political elites, and media elites,” National Rifle Association Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre told attendees at the NRA Annual Meeting.
Go see how David connects the dots. I agree with him but connect the dots a little differently. I think it’s literally all of the politicians, from local to state and then federal. Oh, there are some who are good men, such as Congressman Jeff Duncan (who not coincidentally sponsored the hearing protection act). But there just aren’t enough of them to make a difference.
It’s the political structure, which kowtows the global elitists, who invite immigrants into the country, undermines the culture and the economy, and redistributes the wealth of the middle class both upward and downward. And this dovetails with the main point David makes, because the politicians empower the elitists to remake America in the global image.

The most dangerous thing in America is the man who has nothing left to lose. The continuing erosion of culture and liberty are creating such men. Perhaps legions.

I had an epiphany recently. I’d been wondering why the political elites seem to despise the middle class so much.
Then a thought hit me. In America, a poor person can become rich — or much more likely, join the middle class — by his/her own hard work and ingenuity. Similarly, someone from the middle class can join the upper class, the elite.
The middle class, therefore, serves as a kind of generational bridge between the poor and the elite. One person in his/her own lifetime might not be able to cross it, but his/her children or grandchildren might.
The elitists want to maintain control, but to do that they need to build a caste society where it’s impossible to join the elite without being born into it.
They need to burn that bridge.

Archer,

Guess you haven’t noticed, but what is left of “the middle class” draws their pay, perks and benefits from .gov employment. Entrepreneurial opportunity has been squashed by years of fedgov interference. Most notably by the Marxists in the fedgov’s EPA and their cohorts in stategov environmental agencies. Oh, and any Amerikan entrepreneur quickly outsources his “hard work and engenuity” to the ChiCom, Pakis and any other slave labor source across the globe.

Archer,
FWIW….ingenuity and hard work are certainlh virtues found lacking in many Amerikans today. Your thoughts of “hard worrk” is admirable. However, the America we once knew has succumbed to globalization and the left. Witness 8 years of a Marxist moslem installed as POTUS. What more proof does one need that Amerika is lost ?
