Off-Duty Police Officer’s Gun Accidentally Fires During Wrestling Tournament At Michigan High School

FOWLERVILLE, Mich. – A gunshot rang out at Fowlerville High School during a wrestling tournament Saturday.
Police said an off-duty police officer was at the school to watch his son wrestle when his weapon accidentally discharged about 12:40 p.m. The bullet struck the gymnasium floor.
One person was treated for a twisted ankle they suffered while fleeing the scene, police said, but no one was hurt as a result of the shooting.
His weapon accidentally discharged. It took on a mind of it’s own and decided, without aid or interaction with any human, to discharge a round.
Don’t you just love how the media puts it when it happens to a cop? It’s always the gun’s fault. It’s never a negligent discharge.

Because officer dumbass had his hands resting on the gun (like the bad ass cop he is) and managed to get his finger inside the trigger guard and squeeze the trigger. How is this an accident? Cops have a right to look intimidating, if a mundane is shot, or gets scared, so what? Officer safety and all that.
Saw a asshole in a suv this weekend with a license plate, you know the thin blue line one, with the words “if you haven’t been one, you wouldn’t understand.” Cops hate free men because we understand them all to well.

So… they weapon discharged itself, did it? This cop never had his booger hook anywhere near the trigger?
That weapon is a one-of-a-kind anomaly. It should be returned to the manufacturer post haste! It should be destroyed (before it decides to hurt someone) immediately!

“Police said the gun accidentally discharged somehow…”
The make and model of the now sentient firearm needs to be publicly stated and the manufacturer required to perform a no-cost recall to fix whatever the problem is. Who knows how many thousands of these firearms are in circulation just waiting. Waiting and watching……….

…”when his weapon accidentally discharged…” This is why we love MSM urinalists. They just eat this crap up and regurgitate it writing.
Back here in the real world – I certainly hope those matches in the cupboard don’t accidentally burn the house down.

He must of had it cocked and locked or, (unlocked.)
While he was at his son’s game, he shouldn’t of had one in the pipe at all. Carrying in-battery while off duty at his son’s game, in my opinion, is negligence if the gun was a double-action auto.
Guns can’t discharge without one in the pipe. Full mag empty tube when you’re around friendlies I always say.
