The Islamic Conversion Of Santa Claus

BY Herschel Smith

MEF:

An ominous indication of what lay in store for the religious minorities was afforded as early as December 1998 when Erdoğan, then mayor of Istanbul and an opposition politician, announced that the “mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets, and the faithful our soldiers,” quoting a line from a poem by the nineteenth-century nationalist poet Ziya Gökalp underscoring the Islamist foundation of Turkish identity.

[ … ]

On December 28, 2016, for example, in the western province of Aydin, the ultra-nationalist Islamist group Alperen Hearths staged a forced conversion of Santa Claus to Islam, putting a gun to the head of an actor dressed as Santa Claus. A representative of the group explained the staging of the conversion this way:

Our purpose is for people to go back to their roots. We are the Muslim Turkish people who have been leading Islam for thousands of years. We will not celebrate Christian traditions and disregard our own traditions like Hidrellez, Nevruz, and other religious national holidays.

Well, be warned boys, I don’t believe in Santa Claus.  But what I do believe in is shooting people who threaten me, my family or my way of life.

Consider yourselves warned.  No, seriously.  Remember this, boys.  I hope you’re reading this.

Oh, and by the way, you’re holding the gun like a girl.  No, wait, that’s misogynistic.  My daughter holds her gun way better than you.  She would kick your ass.

Turkish President Recep Erdogan is an unreconstructed Islamic supremacist and neo-Ottoman who seeks to return Turkey to its Islamic past and glory days as an empire with which to be reckoned.

Present-day westerners are accustomed to seeing Turkey as relatively secular and modern, at least by Middle Eastern standards, thanks to the long secular period during and after the life of Kemal Ataturk, the founder of modern Turkey.

Ataturk died in 1938, but his influence has been such that his vision for Turkey outlived his death by many years. However, since the rise of Erdogan, Turkey is returning to what she has been for almost all of her long history – an explicitly Islamic nation. A reversion to the historical mean, one might say.

Erdogan was one of the founders of the Sunni jihad-terror group ISIS, along with allies in the Sunni Arab nations of Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Erdogan’s good friend Barack Hussein Obama also took part, albeit not directly but working through intermediaries such as the CIA. The Arabs played the biggest role in the initial launch and support of the group, but since that time, the Turks have been in the driver’s seat.

President Erdogan’s son, Bilal, was caught red-handed a few years ago running a black-market fleet of Turkish-flagged oil tankers, which delivered oil seized by ISIS to market – the sale of which was used to fund their operations in Syria and elsewhere.

Erdogan – under considerable pressure from the Trump White House – has been forced to publicly disown the group he did so much to create, but undoubtedly still supports ISIS and its mission behind the scenes.

President Erdogan has also been the chief driver of the Islamic invasion of Europe via the hegira, i.e., invasion-by-immigration and migration. ISIS jihadists also figure prominently into this effort as well, with many of its young mujahedeen blending into the stream of genuine refugees flooding into Europe.

Erdogan may appear to westerners to be a buffoon and a megalomaniac and thus a slightly ridiculous figure to post-modern sensibilities, but underestimating him would be a mistake, for his Islamic convictions are strong, and he means to conquer Europe for the black flag of jihad, something his ancestors tried, but failed – to do.

It goes without saying that allowing Turkey to remain a member of NATO, and a purported ally of the U.S. and Europe, is a travesty and an affront to whatever moral authority the alliance still possesses.

“If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without bloodshed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival.

“There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.”

Islam in all its forms is incompatible with Western Civilization. Only one can emerge victorious. Fortunately for us (or possibly ‘unfortunately’), Islam is inextricably linked to a medieval mind-set that can –use– the fruits of a modern civilization but not -create- them.

A victory by Islam would, over the course of time, slowly precess us toward a culture that burns witches at the stake and cures disease with beans rattling in a gourd.

We –will– eventually decide that Islam is not actually ‘a religion’ to be protected by the First Amendment or we –will– decide to march backward in time to the 9th century. Those are the only choices.

It is my opinion that another Crusade will be required. With it, we will return all or much of the Anatolian peninsula and eastern Mediterranean lands to Christendom.

All of Palestine belongs in Christendom as well.

Frank Clarke – IMHO – islam isn’t even compatible with itself – witness how the sunnis and the shias treat each other – much less how they treat the rest of us!

I see nothing wrong with self destruction. Maybe they can step it up a few notches and save the rest of us the trouble of dealing with it.

Islam is fundamentally incompatible with all of Western Civilization, it has always been so.

I recommend all who want documentation of that acquire a copy of:

Oh yes, before I forget, the Turk didn’t conquer Constantinople until 1453, so I make the Turk controlling for about 565 years, not thousands. Of course, the Turk was helped along by the 4th Crusade which wasn’t a Crusade at all, it was an economic war by Venice and Rome with Papal blessing. Byzantium never really recovered from the 4th Crusade.

    @Pat,

If I wasn’t clear, I fully understand the incompatibility of Islam with the world. My point was that they should increase their internecine activities and save us the trouble. And I have all of Matt’s books in my library.

Well here is a way to solve the problem in the US at least –

    http://pedestrianinfidel.blogspot.com/2007/02/proposed-constitutional-amendment.html

    Article III

Immediately upon passage of this Amendment all Mosques, schools and Muslim places of worship and religious training are to be closed, converted to other uses, or destroyed. Proceeds from sales of such properties may be distributed to congregations of said places but full disclosure of all proceeds shall be made to an appropriate agency as determined by Congress. No compensation is to be offered by Federal or State agencies for losses on such properties however Federal funding is to be available for the demolishing of said structures if other disposition cannot be made.

The preaching of Islam in Mosques, Schools, and other venues is prohibited. The subject of Islam may be taught in a post high school academic environment provided that instruction include discussion of Islam’s history of violence, conquest, and its ongoing war on democratic and other non-Islamic values.
