Corporate Ammunition Controls

Look to see this Spread to common Military (Militia) Calibers next, to try and prevent sales of Cases or Cans of several Hundred to a Thousand Rounds, while maintaining Corporate ‘Profit’ by large price increases on Boxes of 20 Rounds.
Long past Time for everyone to have 10K+ Rounds for Each Gun they Own, as well as Distributed Storage of both.
Yea, it would be perfectly in line with the controllers’ plan as they stated, yes? But I fear that if this plan fully obtains, 10K rounds won’t be nearly enough.

That’s an Interesting perspective, Captain Smith – “…10K rounds won’t be nearly enough.” As an Individual, I have, over many Years, acquired a “Stockpile” of ammo (mostly in those Terrible ‘military calibers’ that would Scare the Panties off of most ‘progressives’ but Except for 7.62 and 5.56, I’m quite a ways from 10K for each Gun I Own (by Caliber) and My current/projected Financial Situation is going to Preclude even that Goal.
On the other Hand…
Logically, I don’t see that I’m going to be burning through Thousands of Rounds even in the event of the “Zombie Apocalypse” (or Nuclear War with Russia) and so now Budget for ‘Non-perishable Supplies” instead. I’ve gotten a lot of ‘pushback’ on this from various associates, and none of them can Answer “Just How Long do you think it will Go On after the Gun Bans/Raids begin?”
I’d be Curious to know Your opinion on “How Much is Enough”, particularly for an Individual “LWO”.

No direct control by manufactures.
Colt tried the stocking dealer program. Not working. Leupold had us sign up. before we could buy through wholesaler, but once I have the product in my hand? Leupold’s SOL.
And the ammo market is getting very competitive. As is the whole gun industry.
Can things get worse? always. But corporations have to show investors profits , no matter the NPC board members, “orange man with gun, bad!” attitude. We will see.

Meh, this stuff has been going on for a while. Note after some shooting Academy Sports stores pulled black rifles off the shelves. They were directed to do so by new owners Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. I note last time I was in there (still won’t buy a penny candy there) the black rifles are back on the shelf. Sells more boo-lets to the great un washed (but remember they make a great product, too). Increase demand, charge more make more. Isn’t that why the company is in business(to make money)? They will charge what they can, and if sales fall they will lower the price. Now this does not mean there aren’t groups trying to stop ammo sales. Just look at what Califorinacationstan has done and what other states are trying (Washington). And while I might have 10K, its not for me. I am too old to run and gun, so I see myself as a supply depot. Loaded mags just make me happy.
