Shooting In Pittsburgh: The State Cannot Protect You

This image says it all concerning the recent shooting in Pittsburgh.
At current count, there are eleven dead.
My oldest son Joshua text this: “None of the turnout gear, range time, gym time, or boot shining in the world is as good as the weapon you have with you. The state cannot protect you.”
And Trump is calling for more armed guards. Right.

Herschel – I guess I don’t understand your objection to armed guards. Mr. Trump may have been referring to state-sponsored costume wearers (which I am against, and I presume that you are as well), but several churches in my area (probably more in your area) have security teams composed of congregation members who could certainly be considered “armed guards”. As an aside, I read a quote from a from a past-president of one of the congregations that uses that synagogue, who stated that they have armed security for high holidays (Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur), but not at other times.

As for Private, or Individual Self-Defense, I am VERY Surprised that an ethnic group that Sells Itself as “The most Persecuted People in History”(tm) were not Paranoid enough to Believe their own Propaganda. Was this a Setup, ‘inside job’ where Some of (((them))) Knew something but Said Nothing?
