The 18 Best New Hunting And Precision Rifles
BY Herschel Smith5 years, 6 months ago
OutdoorLife has the analysis.
There are rifles all the way from .22LR to .30-06, with a large collection of guns for 6mm Creedmoor and 6.5mm Creedmoor, and prices that range from around $600 – $6000.
There is one rifle there in 350 Legend, and they don’t seem to like it very much (mainly for the reason of lack of accuracy). Tim Harmsen has the same complaint.
They’re favorite appears to be the new CZ 457 Varmint MTR in .22LR. CZ seems to be making very good guns these days, and also appears to be trying to tailor their products to the American market. John Lovell has a very good review of the CZ P10c. I find the P10c to be an aesthetically pleasing gun.
Here’s the OutdoorLife video on the rimfire guns.

CZ makes excellent, high-quality firearms comparable to the best offered by Winchester, Remington, Savage and Ruger, and at prices which are very competitive. Tried out a CZ American 557 bolt-action in 6.5×55 Swedish Mauser, and am very pleased with the results. The thing is a tack-driver.
The above won’t be my last purchase from CZ; they’re the real deal.
The Czechs are gun people, so supporting them financially helps the cause. The government of that nation recently amended its constitution to make it easier for Czechs to own firearms for self-defense. The Czech Republic is one of the Visegrad Four nations resisting globalism and the EU, another reason they deserve our support. They are proud to be Christians, proud of their way of life, and don’t plan on rolling over for the Muslims, or anyone else, for that matter. Fifty years under the Soviet boot-heel will do that!

These days? Haven’t they always?

Alice Poluchova has been running CZ-USA, importing and manufacturing guns in KC, MO, going on twenty years, now. She was whip-smart and knowledgeable when she came to America, and I’m sure she’s learned a few things since.
