    Why is anyone fighting antifa?

    Should just leave them alone and let them destroy and steal everything around the city.

    Let the rob, rape, and kill at will.

    Who knows, those common and decent communist liberals who brought all this upon themselves might be in a quite Time Out, and are rethinking their political ideals about now..

    Sadly though, like california – they will continue to place the wrong leadership in their cities, and state legslatures.

    Normally I’d have compassion, but in light of this matter, I hope the pain people up there are feeling is all consuming and overwhelming.

    This Texan don’t give two chits for ya or your misery!

    That didn’t look like “boiling” to me. it is just beginning to simmer. None of those people was serious about fighting.

    Just as with the Covid Bull S…, the Lemmings in these cities are willing to step back and allow anarhy to take over. The hell with them if they refuse to defend themselves

    It’s just possible the Cascadia subsection will provide the solution the Pacific Northwests’ ailments.

    Hate it for the Americans there but I suspect there are very few if any left.

    This smoldering cesspool will grenade soon, thinking early November…

    Yesterday in Portland was just larping. Many people on the right are just waiting for the real fight to begin.

    @Toecutter,

    To wit, https://www.captainsjournal.com/2020/08/23/antifa-and-black-lives-matter-intelligence-report/

    Final paragraphs.

    “The real war hasn’t yet begun, and unless the forces of collectivism withdraw (estimated to be highly unlikely), this war will be fought in the suburbs and rural areas of America with AR-15s, pistols and scoped hunting rifles. It may be one thing to control the cities where they have sympathetic politicians and police who are sensitive to bad publicity.

    It’s entirely a different thing to ruin housing prices and destroy earned wealth over a lifetime, endanger women and children in neighborhoods and schools, and rob and steal from otherwise peaceable men. These are just skirmishes, and the violence is estimated to be very likely to increase regardless of the outcome of the upcoming elections.”

    Just think Sarajavo.

    In 1984, the World met there to celebrate the Olympic games.

    Ten years later it was one of the most dangerous cities on Earth, wracked by civil war. Getting bread meant crossing the streets under sniper fire. Over 10,000 dead. Over 50,000 injured and maimed.

    This is what the Democrats lust for. Marxism mandates that the Communist Utopia can only arise from the ashes of bloody revolution.

    @J,

    It also isn’t clear, given their apparent lack of apprehension of effects and consequences, they understand where their food comes from. A shutdown of the highways and byways for a day or two would have profound affects on Portland (as well as any large city).

    @Herschel Smith,
    With few exceptions, cities import everything, food, water, electricity. The riot and talk about defunding police have already made truckers wary.

    Herschel, unless you’re willing to shoot police or guard when they come to open the roads this is a meaningless gesture.

    It’s funny how Antifa have been throwing bricks and shining lasers at the police for the last three months, then they’re shocked that the police don’t rush to their aid when patriots start punching them out.

    I live very close to PDX but across the river. These perverts have made forays into my county but balk at the aspect that they will be arrested and jailed for days before they are released on bail.
    Funny how that works
