   They would be able to exert control. Just like modern car networking can take control of your car away from you (just to prevent theft, they’d never use it to cause a crash, for example), they would certainly be able to inflict pain, confusion, anxiety, etc.

   Read “Harrison Bergeron” by Vonnegut. That is more of what I envision, interference with anything & anyone opposed to their goals for power & control.

   Yes, I agree with that. That part was speculation on her part, but in my opinion it doesn’t detract from the overall import of her research.

   Frankly, much of what they want to accomplish is speculatory, they’re aren’t smart enough to figure it out and humans would serve as the mice. Think Josef Mengele.

   Funny, 150 years ago no one thought we could land a man on the moon. Impossible! In the early 1900s, my grandfather did not believe the newspaper reports about men flying in a machine like a bird. Did not believe it for years….until one day while farming he saw three fly over. From that, eighty years later his grandson would fly the Falcon 900/700EX transatlantic (Houston/ Lagos) hundreds of times…routinely. Boringly routinely.
