Remember I included Aspirin in the Covid treatment protocol?
A new study finds that simple, over-the-counter aspirin may be able to protect COVID-19 patients from extreme risk, including the need for mechanical ventilation, the Jerusalem Post reported.
New research from George Washington University has determined that treating COVID patients with aspirin reduced the risk of severe illness by nearly half.
The report noted that an aspirin regimen in more than 400 COVID-19 patients in hospitals across the United States cut the need for ventilation by 44%, slashed ICU admission by 43%, and reduced overall in-hospital mortality rates by 47%.
Dr. Jonathan Chow, one of the study’s researchers, said, “As we learned about the connection between blood clots and COVID-19, we knew that aspirin — used to prevent stroke and heart attack — could be important for COVID-19 patients. Our research found an association between low-dose aspirin and decreased severity of COVID-19 and death.”
A low-dose aspirin regimen has long been touted as potentially lifesaving for people at risk of heart attack or stroke or who are afflicted by blood clotting issues.
This isn’t the only study professing the possible benefits of aspirin in COVID patients. Earlier in October, Medical Express reported that researchers from the University of Minnesota and Basel University in Switzerland came to the same conclusion.
The researchers’ findings were published in Lancet’s Open Access eClinical Medicine and revealed that patients on blood thinners before getting COVID were admitted less often to the hospital despite being older and having more chronic medical conditions than their peers. The findings also revealed that blood thinners — whether started before or after COVID-19 infection — reduced death by nearly half.
Such a simple, simple thing as aspirin. My pediatrician was prescribing baby aspirin to me when I was an infant.
But there isn’t any money in it for big pharma if we just kill Covid with aspirin, is there?

I also see more evidence is accumulating for green tea.

The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force issued this draft on 10-12-21
“The USPSTF concludes with moderate certainty that aspirin use for the primary prevention of CVD events in adults ages 40 to 59 years who have a 10% or greater 10-year CVD risk has a small net benefit.
The USPSTF concludes with moderate certainty that initiating aspirin use for the primary prevention of CVD events in adults age 60 years or older has no net benefit.”
So, in May, the Israeli study says aspirin plays a roll in Covid prevention.
Now, in October, the USPSTF says low dose aspirin isn’t worth the risk so don’t take it…

I listened to an interview with Doctor Malone yesterday. He said that sufficient vitamin D levels will ward off covid. He in fact said that it is almost unheard of for people with normal D vitamin levels to go down to covid.
So have your vitamin D levels checked, even if you take a supplement, to make sure it is getting into your system. Switch to another brand/type (maybe a liquid) if your levels show low.

So I just got off my back after two weeks with the coof, and a relapse of the shingles I had 15 years ago tossed in just to make it really miserable. I am 59, in better than good shape, eat and exercise right. Last guy I ever thought would get it, much less get it bad enough to miss two weeks’ work. I’ve been taking Zinc, D3, 1000+ C w/ Curcumin and all my other normal supplements since this whole thing started. I figured I’d be sick a couple of days max but all I could do was lie on my back and snooze the days away. Anyway, point is taking all the prophelactics and being healthy isn’t necessarily going to prevent getting a decently incapacitating case. Guy I know who’s 72 and in fabulous shape is still getting over Covid Pneumonia two months in. His cardiologist says the Delta seems to be hitting guys harder who are in better shape. The docs at the hospital just kinda shrugged and said “this is a weird disease” the way it’s hitting healthier folks. Oh and I ain’t got the jab.
