Coyote drags two-year-old away.
Heart-pounding footage shows the moment a quick-thinking Israeli man jumped into action to save his two-year-old daughter before she was dragged away by a coyote outside their Los Angeles home.
Georgia sheepdog, Casper, fights off, kills 8 coyotes after pack attacks his sheep
A harrowing story in the video at the link. That’s one tough dog.
A Georgia sheepdog is recovering from injuries after squaring off against a pack of coyotes, killing eight of them, while protecting his flock.
Casper, a sheepdog who works on John Wierwiller’s Georgia farm, fought off the more than half a dozen coyotes in a fight that lasted over half an hour, WAGA-TV reported.
Wierwiller says that Casper disappeared for two days after the brutal fight.
“We knew he was hurt because we found parts of his tail and blood and other things, so we were worried,” Wierwiller said.
That’s a good boy.

But coyotes are cute and need to be protected from mean old white guys.
Yeah, good dog in Georgia and the Israeli dad should have been able to cap the one trying to take his child.

But remember. This is so rare it NEVER happens. We’re always safe and no one needs to carry weapons. Ever. It’s dangerous to you when you do.

Lol, ya know, not to get all Kanye West with #thenoticing, but.. why does it matter that the parent was from Israel?
If they were from Indiana they wouldn’t know how to throw a shoe at the ‘yote?

A client and I were followed by a coyote and a big dog while walking a proposed water pipeline on the edge of Albuquerque in open space next to a neighborhood. We walked the distance, then turned around to go back and saw them not 30 yards away, sitting on the bank of the wash we were in. As we walked back, we saw their tracks over the top of ours. All they did was follow us, though. I just thought it odd to see a big dog and a coyote paired up like that.
