This is why you should always carry a big boar handgun. Seriously though, this is a failure at every level, even of the innate sense of danger posed by wild animals. It’s a good thing no children were present.

Had an aquaintance who really liked his Taurus Judge revolver. He had rattlesnakes and feral hog on his property and had to deal with both in a quick fashion. Indexing the cylinder from a .45 LC round to .410 shot made a lot of sense for him.

I’m more concerned about those Canadian wild boars destroying my homestead. If I were in Texas, they have plenty there also. Very destructive.
