Long ago I posted on Jeremy Bryant who hitchhiked with a .357 magnum wheel gun openly carried. He did it “For the peace, good and dignity of the country and the welfare of its people.” I respect that. Unfortunately, the URL changed and the link went dead (the embedded video wouldn’t respond).
I quite accidentally stumbled across this video again, and I can’t think of a better way to ring in the new year than to commit to making gun carry commonplace among gentlemen of good character.

My dad served in the pacific with Americans and liked their generosity (and PX stores), my mum was waiting back home and found the Marines waiting to go up to Guadalcanal kind and well mannered and in my 2 months in the US in 1981 I found Americans generally kind, generous and interested in a bloke from the other side of the world. There’s always bad apples but this video echos what I feel – the USA has the best and worst but the best is dominant and the country folk especially are magic if you are respectful.
