SCOTUS Arguments in the VanDerStok Case
BY Herschel Smith1 month, 2 weeks ago
Listen carefully to what he says. Sometimes what he says can get buried in detail. If it’s the case that a single drill hole can convert a non-functioning part into a semi-automatic firearm, then perhaps it’s the case that a single drill can convert a semi-automatic firearm into a machine gun.
See the point?
The AR-15 must have magnificent powers for the FedGov to be so worried about it.
I listened to part of the questions. It sounded like the idiots run the asylum.

I left a comment on his video. He talks about the 1968 gun control law and how the ATF wants to make changes. He says it will be close in the SCOTUS. My question is why is anyone talking about this? Should we be talking about the US Constitutions words and using no lawyer speak. Is the 68 law (along with BATF regulations/rules/laws) UN-constitutional? Yes it is UNconstitutional in plain simple language. Do we need lawyers to “interpret” what the Constitution says? I say no. The Founders were not lawyers, just well educated. No lawyers on the SCOTUS. No lawyers arguing “fine points of the law”. Plain simple language only. Yes or no. I think things would be much better if we did.

I understand. But there are various ways of winning incrementally. One way is statutory language. The other way is a comprehensive and facial 2A challenge.
I think he would say whatever way wins you the argument at the time.
He takes the same position on machine guns. We can’t take on that argument until we win the fight on semiautomatic firearms.

They are Terrified by the AR-15 (predecessor to the M-16 and M-4) because it is one of the Best Combat Firearms ever Designed, and is so Widespread in the US that they know they can Never ‘collect’ them all. And also, there are Millions of ex-Soldiers who are well-trained in the use of these Arms.
p.s. all you fanbois of Mr. Kalashnikov, yes, he designed a wonderful Weapon also. They’re just not as common as the AR, and since the Evil Empire uses the AR, the Interoperability/Resupply factor is Important.
