Following The Trucker Convoys

BY Herschel Smith
2 years, 11 months ago

So an American version of what’s going on in Canada just across the border may be in its planning stages.  They started a group over Fakebook.

Funny, that.  I knew it wouldn’t last.  Sure enough, within hours, Fakebook shut them down.

So here’s the feel good story of the day.  Within hours of being shut out of Fakebook, they moved to Gab.  Just like that, in a matter of hours, Fakebook turned over that much traffic to Gab, free of charge.

That made it a good day.

Here’s the info from a note from Andrew Torba.

You can click here to find the American Freedom Convoy group on Gab.

You can follow the offical Trucker Convoy account here.

Finally you can join the Canadian Trucker Convoy group here which has coverage from people on the ground.

Finally, no one is actually doing reporting on the Canadian trucker business except Rebel News, the group mr. big hair hates so much.  By the way, have you noticed that mr. big hair looks bloated and fat now?

The Canadian Trucking Convoy

BY Herschel Smith
2 years, 11 months ago

At WRSA, if you follow the links back to the source, Rebel News is covering the details.

These are committed folks, and two videos below show not only their commitment, but also their strength.  They turned to God in their time of need.

SWAT has been called on the Canadian truckers, and they’ve brought tow trucks with them because they’re cowards.

So here is my question (and readers can correct me if I’m wrong about this).  The truckers are primarily Canadian, and are on the Canadian side of the border.

Where are the American truckers?  If this collapses because of trucks being towed and truckers arrested and ticketed, it could continue if their American trucker colleagues showed the courtesy of having their backs and supporting them.

Where are the American truckers?

Where are the American truckers?

Where are the American truckers?

Good subjects of the king, we are here in America.  Or so it seems.

Trump Prediction

BY Herschel Smith
2 years, 11 months ago

News.

That long-stewing resentment burst into public view recently in a dispute over a seemingly unrelated topic: Covid policies. After Mr. DeSantis refused to reveal his full Covid vaccination history, the former president publicly acknowledged he had received a booster. Last week, he seemed to swipe at Mr. DeSantis by blasting as “gutless” politicians who dodge the question out of fear of blowback from vaccine skeptics.

Mr. DeSantis shot back on Friday, criticizing Mr. Trump’s early handling of the pandemic and saying he regretted not being more vocal in his complaints.

I have no idea if Trump will run again (I suspect he will) but that’s not what this prediction is about.

Trump is the one who put Fauci on the map by marching him out in front of the cameras every day to perpetrate his destruction of the economy.  Trump is also the one who pushed and took credit for the mRNA shots.

He’s too locked in to change now. He’s proud of what he did.  Even in spite of boos at rallies, he will continue to push the shots, he will continue to claim credit for them, and he’ll continue to engage in insults and name-calling against anyone who opposes him.

Thus will he lose his base.

Uncovering The Coverup Of The Las Vegas Mass Shooting

BY Herschel Smith
2 years, 11 months ago

Mindy Robinson has done yeoman’s work on this.  Here are some deliverances (at least as far as I’m concerned).

There are multiple caliber weapons being shot at the same time.

Many of these are belt fed weapons and go far beyond what a 30-round magazine will hold.

There were shooters all over the city that fateful night.  Not one, not two, not three, not four.  There were shooters all over the city.

There were nefarious goings-on with air assets (along with fake aircraft identification).

There was a massive coverup.  Finally, agents of the Sheriff’s department were required to sign NDAs.

This is a long video, but if you want more questions asked than you will ever find answers for, this is necessary viewing.

I commend it to you.

Three Awful Decisions By The Fifth Circuit Court Of Appeals

BY Herschel Smith

Justifying the unconstitutional bump stock ban.

A federal appeals court in New Orleans is the latest to uphold a federal ban on “bump stocks” — devices attached to semiautomatic firearms so that a shooter can fire multiple rounds with a single trigger pull.

Right there is a falsehood.

The ban was instituted in 2019 by the Trump administration after a sniper in Las Vegas used the device to help him massacre dozens of concertgoers in 2017 in the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history. The U.S. Supreme Court could decide next year whether to hear arguments on the ban.

The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, in a decision dated Tuesday, affirmed a Texas-based federal judge’s ruling in a lawsuit challenging the ban.

A challenge failed recently in the Cincinnati-based 6th Circuit when judges split 8-8 on the issue. Another challenge is on appeal to the Supreme Court, arising from an unsuccessful attempt to overturn the ban at the Denver-based 10th Circuit.

[ … ]

The ban was instituted by the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in a rule declaring that bump stocks are classified as “machineguns,” banned by National Firearms Act.

According to the ATF, bump stock devices harness the recoil energy of a semiautomatic firearm so that a trigger “resets and continues firing without additional physical manipulation of the trigger by the shooter.” The National Firearms Act, according to the court records, outlaws weapons that fire continuously with “a single function of the trigger.”

Opponents of the ATF rule argue that the trigger itself functions multiple times when a bump stock is used. Judge Stephen Higginson, writing for the three 5th Circuit judges that ruled Tuesday, disagreed, quoting from a lower court ruling in the 10th Circuit case.

“As one district court has observed, there is no reason why ‘Congress would have zeroed in on the mechanistic movement of the trigger in seeking to regulate automatic weapons,’ given that the ‘ill sought to be captured by this definition was the ability to drastically increase a weapon’s rate of fire, not the precise mechanism by which that capability is achieved,'” Higginson wrote in an opinion joined by judges James Dennis and Gregg Costa.

But that is precisely what Congress did, and they can undo it if they choose to violate the 2A.

Next, they allow Biden’s vaccine mandate to move forward.

Yesterday, two federal courts issued orders that, together, significantly impact the Biden administration’s authority to implement and enforce the COVID-19 vaccine mandate issued by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The first order, issued by the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, has the effect of allowing the federal government to proceed with its efforts to implement the COVID-19 vaccine mandate issued by CMS in more than two dozen states.

Finally, they allow the vaccine mandate to proceed for United Airlines.  This is a wonderful dissenting opinion (sent by WiscoDave).

They must be taking their lessons in tyranny from the supreme tyrants.

How Obama Sabotaged the American Military

BY Herschel Smith

Seen at The Gun Feed, this analysis by Daniel Greenfield.

By the time Barack Obama left office, every branch of the military was smaller than it had been on September 11. But the change in size concealed the true impact of America’s most left-wing president in undermining our national security and weakening us in the face of our enemies.

“I’ve got a pen, and I’ve got a phone,” Obama famously boasted. He used the pen to unleash a blizzard of executive orders and memorandums. Some led to outraged protests, but some of his most devastating penned assaults on our nation’s military flew under the radar.

One of those took place during the end of his last year in office. His memorandum, “Promoting Diversity and Inclusion in the National Security Workforce”, created the woke military of the Biden administration by putting identity politics, diversity quotas, and political indoctrination at the heart of the military’s mission.

Obama had always resented the military. Even former General McChrystal, an Obama loyalist fired for describing his boss a little too aptly in the presence of a Rolling Stone reporter, described him as “uncomfortable and intimidated” by generals. But Obama’s parting shot at the military cut the generals down to size by transforming them into community organizers.

His order redefined diversity as the military’s “greatest asset” and reinvented national security as a system for maximizing employment diversity by race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and every identity politics metric, but not the military metrics that truly mattered, readiness, competence, and a willingness to wage war in defense of the homeland.

Along with transforming the military into another quota-based federal employment agency in which skills and capability mattered much less than being a disabled transgender Eskimo, the order also demanded that national security agencies should make “implicit or unconscious bias” training mandatory for “senior leadership and management positions”. Divisions that didn’t earn sufficiently high IQ (Inclusion Quotient) scores would also be hit with bias training.

Implicit bias training is a form of political indoctrination which asserts that all white people are racist. Its sessions force participants into accepting its radical racial worldview or be treated as obstacles to the new organizational mission. Implicit bias training has succeeded in forcing out talented executives from corporations and officers from the military, replacing them with political activists and bootlickers cowardly enough to repeat Marxist dogma for the sake of their careers.

Obama’s memorandum led to the expansion of implicit bias within the military such as Army Secretary Eric Fanning’s infamous Directive 2017-06 ordering mandatory implicit bias training for “soldiers and employees in senior leadership and management positions” that was protested by chaplains for infringing on religious freedom. While the Trump administration later ordered a ban on such abusive training in the military, by then Obama’s order had long since been circulating in its cultural and organizational bloodstream, and was quickly restarted by Biden.

Biden’s first executive orders not only rescinded the ban, but doubled down on making the military more woke, more racist towards white Americans, and more incapable than ever. The new equity push went even further by attributing any failure to meet racial, gender, and other identity politics quotas to the grand hoax of “systemic racism” –a practice outlawed by the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Meeting these quotas became the foremost task of senior leadership.

[ … ]

By Obama’s second term, male Army ROTC cadets were being forced to march in women’s high heels. The humiliating woke rituals, whose purpose is not the stated one of inclusion, but of exclusion, of demeaning and destroying the morale of the traditional fighting man, continue to hollow out the military readiness of armed services waging a culture war against themselves.

Obama’s purge ousted 197 flag officers in five years.  And there is also this.  “Gen. Carter Ham [was] was relieved as head of U.S. Africa Command after only a year and a half because he disagreed with orders not to mount a rescue mission in response to the Sept. 11, 2012, attack in Benghazi.”

I always knew that, and I’m certain that General Ham was forced to sign an NDA in order to retain retirement benefits.

But here’s the problem with all of that.  Who followed Obama in the Oval office and issued ridiculous Tweets into the wee hours of the morning rather than studying the CVs and resumes of the people around him, and the history of this purge and how to reverse its effects in the military?

Who wore his ego and feelings on his shoulders rather than hid his true intent (like Obama) while acting under cover to effect proper change back to a more effective and less woke military?

If you cannot recall the name of the president after Obama, perform a Google search.  Why should he be given a second chance to screw up his four years as badly as he did the first go-around?

Obama had the guts to fire 197 flag officers to effect his vision.  Trump issued some Tweets and disbanded the Integrity in Election Commission he formed himself.  Who was more effective?

“We’re Just Trying To Do The Right Thing”

BY Herschel Smith
3 years, 1 month ago

No he’s not, and he knows it.  He isn’t trying to do the right thing. He’s got someone imprisoned for no good reason, demanding they wear a device that has no affect whatsoever over transmission of a bug that hasn’t been proven to do any real damage.

He’s infringing on liberty and God-given rights to work and be with family.

He’s evil, just as his handlers.  And he knows it, regardless of his words.  This is called kidnapping and false imprisonment.  More specifically, it’s a war crime.

I would have been okay with her having shot them all in the face so that they never return home safely that night.
