How Helene Affected The People Of Appalachia

To begin with, this is your president. This ought to be one of the most shameful things ever said by a sitting president. "Do you have any words to the victims of the hurricane?" BIDEN: "We've given everything that we have." "Are there any more resources the federal government could be giving them?" BIDEN: "No." pic.twitter.com/jDMNGhpjOz — RNC Research (@RNCResearch) September 30, 2024 We must have spent too much money on Ukraine to help Americans in distress. I don't…… [read more]

How many of the rioting ‘protesters’ come from super-rich families?

BY Herschel Smith
4 years, 3 months ago

American Thinker.

Clara Kraebber, 20 years old, the school-smart, life-dumb, over-educated, under-knowledgeable daughter of wealthy, highly accomplished parents, recently profiled on this blog for her protest demonstration temper tantrum for over six years, is currently confined in her family’s second mansion — complete with four fireplaces to complement the ecologically correct heating system — in an upscale Connecticut suburb, awaiting the next step for damages caused in a riot in which she participated.

Elsewhere, some of her peers are also suffering similar fates.

Elliot Rucka, 20, nabbed in the same riot (I repeat, not “peaceful protest”!) as Kraebber “that caused at least $100,000 in damages, authorities said,” is also the offspring of prominent parents …

Meanwhile, shed some tears — perhaps of laughter — as Natalie Van Norman, from the comfortable California beach suburb of Redondo Beach, sobbingly wants to know “Where the f— are my rights?” as she is arrested up north in Portland.  Not so amazingly, she showed no concern for the rights of the average Portland citizens whose lives and businesses have been upended in the 100 days — count them; they did — of violence as she dashed from the taxpayer-funded ambulance where police placed her to be treated, at taxpayer expense, for injuries sustained while she resisted arrest.

Loewy Malkovich, a software engineer in Portland and son of noted actor John Malkovich, joined other rioters as they violently protested against the middle-class police trying to protect their union building and other middle-class businesses.

Andy Ngo notes yet another.

I said in an earlier post that “This is just a bunch of bourgeois, trust fund white kids being supported by their parents.”

I was partially right.  It’s a combination of those and the very poor.  The very rich and the very poor have aligned to take down the middle class.

That’s you and me.  They want to destroy the middle class.  All communists do.

Washington State Troopers Remove BLM Road Blocks

Via Ken.

This robs men and women of their time, potentially puts people in life threatening situations (think here babies being delivered on the roadway, heart attack victims who perish on the highway because they can’t get to the hospital, etc.), and I would say the same thing if this was a protest to repeal the NFA (which of course I support).

Get off the highway jerk!  You’re endangering me.

Black Lives Matter Thuggery

BY Herschel Smith
4 years, 3 months ago

In Pittsburgh.

A raucous contingent of Black Lives Matter protesters harassed white diners over the weekend in Pittsburgh, hurling insults before one demonstrator stole a drink off one pair’s table.

Cellphone footage posted on Twitter shows the protesters converge on a restaurant’s outdoor dining area Saturday in the Steel City.

“F–k the white people that built the system,” one demonstrator could be heard yelling at the patrons, some of whom grabbed their belongings and walked away.

The group approached an older man and woman who stayed put, with a female protester clad in a shirt reading “Nazi Lives Don’t Matter” reaching onto their table, grabbing a drink, downing it and walking away as the patrons look on in disbelief.

A second video shows demonstrators smacking a white bicyclist. The protesters then faced off against police outside the home of Mayor Bill Peduto, according to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.

Let’s see – assault, disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, theft, and trespassing – none of which will ever be charged by prosecutors.  None of these criminals will ever see court over any of this.

And it continues.  Generations of hate.  The people to whom this is being done will hate for generations, and generations, and generations.  Grandparents and parents will tell children about this event and those of its kind, and they will pass it down to their children to the third and fourth generations.

Once this spigot has been opened, it’s nearly impossible to close it.

And every bit of this is planned by the deep state.

Antifa Reality Check: This Is A Problem Of RUF/ROE

BY Herschel Smith
4 years, 3 months ago

Via WRSA, this piece from NC Scout is must read.

“Me and three of my buddies were in Portland this weekend, got attacked by Antifa. There’s a Twitter video with millions of views on it. They ended up on Hannity and Tucker Carlson, Ben Shapiro etc., of us getting beaten with bats and rocks the size of cantaloupes thrown at us, getting spit on etc. We were all carrying pistols as well. Opportunity, ability and jeopardy, we were in a deadly force situation and we could easily articulate the use of deadly force, but they had pepper sprayed us. They were using industrial strobe lights on us, etc. We couldn’t PID our target and what lied beyond it, They did a great job of taking our situational awareness away, it was fucking incredible.

Bro my perspective on this changed so much.

The reason we were there wasn’t to counter protest or some shit, **** and *****, two of the guys with me, one of which is a bronze star and Purple Heart recipient. They’re both in the hiring process for the Portland Police Department. One is from Ohio and one is from Virginia. They both flew in that day just so they could come check out the city before they move their families across the nation.

[ … ]

But in all the training that I’ve been through my life, I’ve never been in one where in the first five seconds of the scenario you’re blinded with a strobe light and sprayed with pepper spray…. That changes everything. They were throwing these rocks from 15 feet back in the crowd, you couldn’t see who the fuck through it, etc. things like that…. It’s just a good talking point for guys that carry concealed, but you need to think through all these different scenarios.

It got way worse after that video ended, they chased us for 11 city blocks. They had a convoy of about 25 vehicles that cut us off at the next intersection, They had scouts on the corner with radios, they had a drone following us, they had a bull horn calling us Nazis, and the crowd was following a red strobe light that was up in the air on a stick, so they would announce Nazis and then people would follow the red strobe light, That video is just the beginning, I’ve got a fucking fractured hand from a baton, everyone of us has black and blue bruises up and down their legs and back, I had a guy spit in my face from 6 inches away, call me a pussy and a coward for not doing anything about it, and then tell me that he was going to find where I live, rape my mother, rape my children in front of me and then kill me.

[ … ]

Bottom line: don’t go to an Antifa protest where you can put yourself in that situation. And if you find yourself in that situation, expect them to employ tactics that take away your situational awareness, and complicate the use of force continuum.”

As I’ve said before, Antifa/BLM is highly trained and experienced with their tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs).  The patriots are simply going to have to do better than this.  Furthermore, there is some thinking and hard decision-making that needs to occur before too much longer down this road.

Many former military have been trained in this sort of difficult tactical situation.  My son, a former Marine, trained his “boots” this way because that’s the way he was trained.  Getting gassed was a routine occurrence, and he trained his “boots” in shooting skills not by letting them sit in safety, security, comfort and peace on sunny, breezy days at the range, but by hazing them and striking them with the butt of his rifle for every errant shot.  I asked him, “How did that work out?”  He responded, “Every one of the boots under my charge scored expert rifleman.  Every … single … one.  You’d be surprised what a good motivator pain and stress is and how well it prepares you for combat.”

Many of us are not former Marines.  In fact, most of us are not prepared for what lies ahead if Antifa/BLM bring their party to the suburbs and begin to burn businesses and homes.  They think it’s justified, the police won’t stop it, and so there is no deterrent or reason for them to cease and desist this behavior.

Professor Reynolds says this concerning the street riots.  “BLOCKING STREETS IS DANGEROUS, AND STEALS HOURS FROM OTHER PEOPLE’S LIVES WITHOUT COMPENSATION.”  (Reynolds also says “Molon Labe” when it comes to giving up his home, a threat one wonders if he would carry through on given his knowledge of the difficult legal circumstances surrounding defense of property with lethal force?).

I submit that this doesn’t even come close to the problems the rioting entails, not even nearly.  For some, there is no just compensation.  A baby gets born in a vehicle with the cord around her neck, without medical care, and perishes.  An ambulance isn’t able to get to the hospital and a heart attack victim dies.  On a lesser scale, a father has promised his child that he will be there for his child’s last concert, or school presentation, and cannot make it because of a road riot.  You can fill in the details of thousands more hypothetical instances, but in any case, generations of hate develops.  This hatred doesn’t go away with an election.

Concerning businesses, a BLM march was recently had in Boiling Spring, S.C., in which owners of businesses stood outside their places of business with rifles, ready to defend their property.  Few saw the problem, but I did.  This mirrors so many other such instances of this sort of thing it’s impossible to count.

But what would these owners do in the event of looting, burning, and destruction of private property?  Businesses that perhaps took generations to build, burned down in an instant because of road riots.  What if these riots transition to neighborhoods?  What is a father to do if he sees his home being torched?  It’s more complicated than simply file it with insurance.  Insurance cannot possibly ameliorate the destruction of family and school life such destruction would entail.

There are two states in America where one can legitimately defend property with deadly force, Texas and Missouri.  And in Missouri, because of Soros-backed protecutors, the McCloskeys cannot even go into their own yard carrying guns without being dragged into court.  So regardless of how the law reads, a prosecutor can change everything.

The labyrinth laws of self defense in America and the dice throw of prosecutorial discretion have made it to where the typical American can do nothing to stop this destruction to even their own private property.  Antifa/BLM knows this, and has leveraged these laws in their favor.

American laws concerning self defense and defense of private property were written for men and women who no longer exist.  They are an artifact of a simpler time, a time when men believed in the difference between right and wrong, and usually acted in a manner worthy of being called men.  As John Adams remarked, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the governance of any other.”

My son executed warfare under what I consider an immoral set of RUF/ROE (immoral to him and his unit, that is).  Regardless, he still managed to do his job, and do it well.  But even his RUF/ROE wouldn’t have allowed road riots and the destruction of private property.

The incident cited above in Portland is really only a problem because of rules for the use of force and rules of engagement.  The problem isn’t that Antifa/BLM are enemy forces (they are), but that prosecutors are enemy forces as well in such instances, and the police, who won’t act to stop the acts of violence because they are beholden to the politicians, will follow their orders to the letter and arrest you if a prosecutor says to do it because you defended your property with lethal force.

You see, this is all a problem of RUF/ROE.  It was for these guys in Portland, and it will be for you if you attempt to defend your property.

Unless people decide to change them.  And that’s what I expect to occur in the future.  Open confrontations in the roadway will cease after the arrest of Kyle Rittenhouse and others, and men standing outside of their businesses with ARs will be replaced by men hiding under Ghillie suits, around the corner, and using stand-off tactics and weapons from 400, 500, or 600 yards away, or even further.

This article is posed merely for analysis purposes and as a thought-experiment.  It outlines not what I recommend, nor what I wish to see occur, but what I strongly suspect will occur.

Good men, home owners, fathers who want to protect their families, and business owners, are progressively being backed into a corner.  I suspect they will not allow themselves to be put into a position of no escape from that corner.  At that point, the Antifa/BLM project becomes very dangerous for everyone involved.

Sarah Iannarone Concerning Antifa: “White People Are Under-Policed”

BY Herschel Smith
4 years, 3 months ago

Ted Wheeler isn’t the worst possible outcome for Portland.  Sarah Iannarone is.  Of course, people get the sort of leaders they deserve, but this short interview is interesting.  It’s difficult to see how she can lie so many times in such a short interview, but she’s a professional I suppose.

I’m going to point out only two things about this.  First of all, “Kenosha begets Portland.”  As if this wasn’t all going down in Seattle (CHAZ) and Portland weren’t happening before the event in Kenosha, and as if Kyle Rittenhouse did something wrong rather than simply defend his own life.  And … and if the man who was shot by police hadn’t previously committed sexual assault.  If you don’t want to be in that position to begin with, don’t commit sexual assault.

Next up, “While people are under-policed.”  Ahh … there, you slipped right past that on the first listen, didn’t you?

They don’t want a reigned-in police force.  She (self identified Antifa) wants less policing for blacks, and more for white people.

Listen again.  “White people are under-policed.”  Never forget that’s what Antifa wants for you and your family.

When Communists Try To Defend Looting And Rioting

BY Herschel Smith
4 years, 3 months ago

Ed Gardner, a communist, tries to defend looting and rioting.

The Liberal Gun Club does not and will not equate the value of property with the value of human life. We believe those who are and continue to be oppressed do not need to be told by mostly straight, white folks how to protest or how to grieve.

We firmly believe shooting people to protect property is wrong, regardless of if its your television or the corner drug store at risk.

We firmly believe shooting people because they are protesting is wrong. So is running them over with cars.

Looting and rioting IS a legitimate form of social protest, and without it it, years ago in Boston Harbor, things may have ended differently.

Looting and rioting for the sake of it, is not the same, and should be roundly condemned.

Being able to tell the difference is important. Understanding that there may be more than one type of group involved in these events is also important.

This is rich.

First of all, he defends social protest that in effect, breaks things, destroys private property (for which some families have worked for generations), and steals time from you without compensation (road interdiction via the protests and riots).

Just because.  He doesn’t respect your private property, and claims it for his own.  If he didn’t claim it for his own, he would have no right to destroy it.  Thus for communists.  It all belongs to the commune.  What you’ve worked for your whole life belongs to someone else.  God’s laws concerning the ownership of private property and covetousness don’t apply to him or his ilk.

Then this staggering proposal: his project is equated with the Boston Tea Party.  The American revolution, which removed the tyrannical control over food, lives, weapons and wealth claimed by King George, is falsely equated with control over those same things by the mob.

Moreover, the East India Company was a subject vassal of the king, not a private company owned by individuals.  The damage done all had to do with the king’s property, and “The crews of the ships attested to the fact there had been no damage to any of the ships except for the destruction of their cargoes of tea.”

He gets it exactly backwards.  The colonists protested against corporate ownership of their property, heavy taxation, gun control, and having to get permission to hunt the king’s royal forests.  God owns the animals and gave man right of dominion over them.

He wants to return to the days of tyranny, where everyone owns your property, not you.  Whether King George or the communist mob, a tyrant is a tyrant.

Go find another way to justify your destructive project, little boy.  You failed miserably with this attempt.

Michael Reinoehl: Lying In Wait

Here is the full warrant affidavit.

It’s called lying in wait to kill someone, and it’s categorized in the Scriptures as murder.

So much for his “self defense” claim.

Running From Antifa/BLM

BY Herschel Smith
4 years, 3 months ago

The rioters and thugs don’t care that there’s a child with him.  He apparently didn’t care enough about his daughter not to put her in harm’s way.  This isn’t some political protest with civil discourse.  It’s a communist revolution.

The police were of course nowhere to be found, not that they would have done anything anyway.  They would have shown up if the father had unholstered a weapon because it would have been streamed to Twitter (and Jack Dorsey wouldn’t have taken it down because Jack Dorsey is a communist).

So you see, they’ve set this up to be this way.  They beat people up, even kill people, and if this provokes a response of self defense, they stream it to Twitter and call the police on the man, who then gets arrested by the police who wouldn’t do anything to stop it to begin with.  Then, the communist prosecutors charge the man with crimes, and he isn’t around to raise his daughter.

Folks, Americans are going to have to be smarter than this, politically, tactically, and concerning the art of war.  Because that’s what this is.

War.
