How Helene Affected The People Of Appalachia

To begin with, this is your president. This ought to be one of the most shameful things ever said by a sitting president. "Do you have any words to the victims of the hurricane?" BIDEN: "We've given everything that we have." "Are there any more resources the federal government could be giving them?" BIDEN: "No." pic.twitter.com/jDMNGhpjOz — RNC Research (@RNCResearch) September 30, 2024 We must have spent too much money on Ukraine to help Americans in distress. I don't…… [read more]

Thomas Binger, Kyle Rittenhouse Prosecuting Attorney, Is A Dangerous And Stupid Man

BY Herschel Smith

I have previously called for criminal charges against Thomas Binger, the PA in the Kyle Rittenhouse case, for having suborned perjury in the case.  He’s an awful man without scruples or ethics of any sort.

Now we find out that he’s just plain dumb.

Prosecutor takes the AR (an admitted exhibit), says his assistant has “ checked it to be sure it isn’t loaded.” Then, without himself opening the action to confirm unloaded, raises it and points it in the direction of the jury!

Source.

Folks, this isn’t a game, show or circus act, even though the PA’s been allowed to turn it into that.

Let’s make it clear.  It wouldn’t have even mattered if he had performed a chamber check himself, or if 100 people had done that.

It’s called defense in depth, where there are redundant means of ensuring safety.  Nuclear Power Plants are designed that way.  Commercial aircraft are designed that way.

Gun safety is managed that way.  Perform a chamber check, and then handle the weapon as if it’s loaded.

Do not point the weapon at anything you don’t intend to destroy, and know your backstop.  In this case he has his finger inside the trigger well on the trigger.  He’s violating two of the most sacred rules of gun safety.

It would have been entirely legitimate had someone from the jury stood up and shouted, “Stop pointing the gun at us, you moron!”

Prosecuting Attorney For Kyle Rittenhouse Should Be In Prison

BY Herschel Smith

And the proceedings should be a mistrial.

First, at Legal Insurrection, the forensic expert supports the defense contention that Kyle’s actions were in self defense.  Because they were.

Second, Zero Hedge has a piece up discussing the “grave constitutional violation” involved in the prosecution’s assertion that Kyle’s remaining silent says something about his guilt.  In other words, Kyle invoked the Fifth Amendment, and the prosecution wants to make something of it.  The jury heard it all.  The name of the prosecuting attorney is Thomas Binger.  He’s a scumbag.

Next, the prosecution suborned perjury.  Yes, that’s right.

A witness in the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse testified Tuesday that prosecutors pushed him to change his statement to the police.

Amateur photographer Nathan DeBruin took the stand on Tuesday as one of four defense witnesses called that day. During his testimony, DeBruin recounted an earlier, uncomfortable meeting with prosecutors in which DeBruin said they pushed him to change a statement he gave to police regarding another man, Joshua Ziminski, whom prosecutors have charged with arson.

During the defense examination of the witness, defense attorney Mark Richards asked DeBruin to describe the meeting he had had with Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger and Assistant District Attorney James Kraus.

“I was called down to the district attorney’s office. I met with Mr. Binger and [Kraus] … I was called into a room, sat at a table, handed my police statement, got to read over my police statement, and then I was asked if I would like to add anything to the police statement, and I said I would not,” DeBruin began.

“Mr. Binger pulled out a cell phone and showed me a video and also a photo – which was actually one photo that I brought today – and asked me if I knew who a gentleman was in that photo, and I said I did not. … He said, ‘This is Joshua Ziminski.’ Mr. Binger also has a case with him, and I am subpoenaed for that case also,” he continued. “He says, ‘Well, that’s who that is.’ He put the phone down. He picked the phone back up and says, ‘Who is this?’ And I confusingly said, like, Joshua Ziminski, and he said, ‘Would you like to add that to your statement?’ and I just felt I didn’t want to change my statement.”

DeBruin said that after that meeting he retained counsel. Richards closed his examination after the exchange.

Under cross-examination by Kraus, DeBruin testified that the prosecution asked him to “change” his statement, suggesting that prosecutors wanted DeBruin to give the police false information regarding his knowledge about Ziminski.

Finally, here is an exchange between the judge and the prosecuting attorney (sent by Len Savage).  The prosecuting attorney (his name is Thomas Binger) is a disgusting piece of garbage, a true dirtbag.  The judge gives the attorney a spanking the likes of which I’ve never seen before.  In forty one years in my career, I’ve never been dressed down like that.

With that said, it’s now time for the judge to throw the case out of court and imprison the attorney for suborning perjury and contempt of court, right after he reports him to the BAR to have his license revoked.

See at WRSA.

End The Stupid Kangaroo Court Trial Of Kyle Rittenhouse Now!

BY Herschel Smith

A room full of court jesters.  If the judge has any integrity, he’ll call counsel to his chambers and end the trial now. The prosecuting attorney should be submitted to the BAR to have his license and practicing privileges revoked.

Kyle Rittenhouse is innocent of all charges against him. This is nothing but a political show.

What Does Hunter Biden’s Form 4473 Show?

BY Herschel Smith

David Codrea.

“A source with knowledge of the situation has revealed … that in October 2018, Hunter Biden’s handgun was taken from his vehicle without his knowledge by Hallie Biden — the widow of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s son Beau — and she placed it in a garbage can outside a Delaware supermarket,” The Blaze reported Thursday.

[ … ]

Further, we are told “agents from the United States Secret Service as well as the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives visited the shop where Hunter Biden purchased the gun” and that they “asked the shop owner for the file on Hunter Biden’s gun purchase — and that a copy was provided.”

Hmm … let’s see.  What happens if you’re a crack addict and sign form 4473 trying to buy a firearm?

I have no doubt this report is true based on everything else we know about this duo of demons.

On to another item.  This one an update on Kyle Rittenhouse, which I don’t know to be true at all based on how carefully they’re controlling the flow of information (even to Kyle’s lawyers).

Police interviewed Rittenhouse’s 18-year-old friend, who told them he bought the rifle at an Ace Hardware in Ladysmith, Wisconsin, using money Rittenhouse had given him. The friend said the rifle was only supposed to be used for hunting and that he stored it in a safe at his stepfather’s house in Kenosha.

We don’t know the details of the alleged transaction, but you can be sure they’ll prosecute this as a straw purchase.

Kyle and his friends had a naive trust in the police (I say had hopefully, rather than have).  Someone should have told both of them never to talk to the police.

So one of these crimes will never be charged, and the other alleged crime will certainly see the inside of a courtroom.

Because justice is just-us.

Charges Against The First Shooter In Kenosha Have Been Dropped

BY Herschel Smith

Well, not completely.  The charge of disorderly conduct remains, but if they charged him with unlawful carrying and discharge of a firearm, they would undermine their case against Kyle Rittenhouse.

These people are terrible and creepy.

Kyle Rittenhouse – The Truth in 11 Minutes

BY Herschel Smith

Via WRSA, this video is highly worth watching.  I had sent a note to Attorney John Pierce advising him that he needed to hire a very good media firm to capture all of the media before it was gone, and build it together into a true narrative to combat the lies.  It looks like he took my advice.

Comprehensive, Time-Spliced Video Of Kenosha Event

BY Herschel Smith
4 years, 2 months ago

I’ve already written extensively on the Kenosha event, here (“What Started The Event?), here (“No, I Absolutely Do Not Stipulate That Kyle Rittenhouse Shouldn’t Have Been In Kenosha”), here (“What Does It Take To Be A Writer For Slate?”), here (“Three Criminals Shot In Kenosha, WI, Identified”), here (“Candid Observations At Reddit Concerning Kenosha, WI, Gun Battle”) and here (“One Rioter Gets Half His Arm Blown Off With Rifle Fire”).

But I can barely keep up with the breathtaking speed and dizzying accuracy of the analyses at both AR-15.com and Reddit/Firearms.

AR-15.com has comprehensive analyses at both this link and this one (the first being first in the sequence, the second being updated but different).

Reddit/Firearms also had a good analysis up, which has been taken down by the awful moderators, but which I lifted here (for the most part, although the loss of comments is regrettable).

The best video I’ve seen to date is a time-spliced video built and posted by a Redditor and dropped out as an MP4 file.  Here is the link (if the link gets taken down, I downloaded the full video and will repost).  Allow me to explain why I’m lifting some of the prose and explanation.  This is “fair use,” as I do not make a penny off of this web site.

Second, I’ve seen far too many valuable, creative, informative discussion threads removed by awful moderators to trust that it will be there in the future.  They could send me a certified letter signed by an attorney declaring that it will never be removed, and I’d still not trust them.  With that said, I will be lifting only parts of the explanation by the author, and I encourage you to go to the balance of the explanation and the comments (which are equally informative).

The Reddit/Firearms thread is here.

The entire thing is a single synced shot, with the exception of the part after the shooting where the entire clip from Regg’s stream of the shooting is played again, and a few seconds at the beginning showing CJ’s shot of Kyle leaving the gas station. Other than that, everything can be considered sequential, synced within about .05 seconds.

The first clip is mostly in there for irony’s sake, and to show that he was wearing his shirt properly earlier, but it’s part of a larger confrontation which started when rioters got angry at the gas station defenders for putting out a dumpster fire.

Joseph was there, and he was very angry at people.

That may have been what prompted him to start chasing Kyle (long time after this incident happened) when he spotted him 50ft outside the gas station parking lot, or Kyle may have started running on his own, drawing people to chase him. Either way, he appears to start running with the extinguisher about a second before “burn inside” is yelled”, dropping it a few seconds later.

That’s all I’ll lift.  There’s a lot more at the link, and as I said, I encourage you to visit the link and watch the entire video (linked above), multiple times if you have to.  I have.

It’s obvious to me that Mr. Rittenhouse attempted to put out a fire caused by Rosenbaum, Rosenbaum didn’t like it (because he was trying to expand the fire to nearby buildings and police vehicles), and went after Rittenhouse.

Kyle Rittenhouse defended his life, and then others gave chase.  Kyle was on the ground when the rest of the shooting occurred, in one instance defending his life against an attack with a skateboard (which could be lethal in an attack to the head or spine), and in another instance against a convicted felon with a pistol who was advancing towards him (and who unapologetic and later claimed that his only regret is in not emptying his magazine into Kyle).

If you still don’t understand how this went down, I encourage you to go view the video again.  In the exchange, he killed a convicted sex offender (and also convicted arsonist), a wife beater, and wounded (and took out of the fight) another felon.

There’s another aspect that hasn’t been discussed at all, and that is the police interactions with the militia before this event went down.  Watch one of those present explain it to you.

Let’s be clear.  The founders were deeply opposed to a standing army, and the police have become that standing army in many instances, especially with militarized tactics like SWAT teams and no-knock raids.

I’m not opposed to the use of militia to aid “peace officers.”  That’s how the founders intended it to work.  I’m also not opposed to what the Kenosha police told the militia, nor their intended use of the militia (assuming this report is true).

What I am opposed to is the arrest of Kyle Rittenhouse in this instance given that he was doing what was expected of him (and also acted only in self defense), and the office of the DA filing charges of murder against Rittenhouse.  The DA (Michael Graveley) will now use his office to conduct lawfare against the very people with whom the police made a bargain that very day.

But you can be sure of one thing.  Graveley’s office will make sure that the U.S. Department of Justice investigates the shooting of Jacob Blake.
